So glad they were able to convict Martha Stewart and let this piece of s*** walk.....I know I'll sleep better. I'm just sad about it....MojosMama wrote:How about money talks, and justice can be bought and sold?pbans wrote:Wow....don't really even know what to say.

When this went to jury, this is what I thought the verdict would be. While I believe he is guilty of at least some of these charges, it was not that strong a prosecution case.
When i sat on a murder trial jury, our discussion was not about guilt or innocence, but was about proof.

Two things that bother me.
1. He setlled in previous cases. WHY? If I was accused of molesting a child and had the $$ to fight it, I would NEVER settle. I'd fight it to the death if I was innocent.
2. Why didn't he testify? If I'm innocent, they can't trip me up and I have nothing to hide. I'd be so vocal against it. I'd be itching to take the stand.

it's apparent that they could have caught him in bed with those boys, had pictures and that was about all that was missing anyway and he would have still be let go!!!! that jury was NOT wanting to put a STAR of his caliber in jail!
When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.

I thought for sure that he would be found guilty with the "booze" charge.
The thing that casts a shadow of doubt was that mom! She has always been out for money, and even told her boys to lie under oath in her case about her back injury. If the boy would have had a "regular" mom, I don't think MJ would have walked.
And if she would have been a "real" mom, the boy would have never spent the night there in the first place.

Like it or not phrends.... the justice system is in place. Unlike many places... we are innocent until a court of law determines that we aren't. We obviously agree with our system or we would live in another country.....
In America of course, the media and public find you guilty even when the court disproves it. I am not taking sides in the MJ case..... just to point out once again...that the jury was obviously not without reasonable doubt.
Michael Jackson knows what he did or didnt do. He must look himself in the mirror. No matter how we see him......
