I couldn't care less about MJ, but this kid's family did have a history of lying and conning.....I think MJ was just another person on their hit list...a very easy target.

That said, any parent who lets their kid spend the night with him is a retard....or looking for an opportunity to make some cash

I agree with the post above. I think MJ's guilty of molesting young boys and I'm disappoointed the jury didn't feel the evidence was strong enough to convict, but the one's I think should really be put away now are the parents that let their kids sleep with this freakshow!

(and I've posted this before, so pardon my repetition) Michael Jackson has repeatedly suggested he would never do anything to harm a child... the problem is that he does not consciously understand that what he does with children harms them. As a sexual predator (which I believe he is) he seduces children with fairytale lifestyle and existence and then manipulates them into engaging in sexual behavior that he feels is perfectly natural & normal... he doesn't believe he hurts them! When he looks in the mirror, he sees the sexual equal of a child.

After dealing with these types of cases for many years, my opinion is that everything Michael Jackson says and does is text book for a pedophile. Children are lured and pampered and loved....then trapped in a web that they do not have the experience, emotional or physical strength to get themselves out of.....
Most of them do not believe that what they are doing is wrong.....they think society just doesn't understand them.....
The mother in this case is a pathetic excuse for a parent. She prostituted her son in hope to hit a big payoff. It cost her, it cost all of us.
This case will have a chilling effect on victims coming forward, it will give sick, twisted pedophile b@st@rds a poster child and it will give prosecutors pause before entering in to a marginal case.
Most cases of child sexual abuse don't have tons of physical evidence......it's an adult preying upon a vulnerable child.

While I believe that MJ is a freak, what self-respecting parent (translation: mothers -- did you notice, each of these boys did not have their fathers actively involved in their lives?)

Maybe a DA with an axe to grind was the wrong person to objectively weigh the likelihood of a doubting jury

True but there'll prolly be another one in a few more years.
If he's really a pedofile he'll prolly do it again. Especially now that he was found not guilty. And unfortunately I'm sure there's no shortage of parents willing to let their kids hang with him.
