Uh....WHAT? Is it a drink, a statue, or a way of life?

A drink and it was a way of life, growing up in SC, on the beach...
We made it in NEW garbage cans....

Lots of fruit juice, fresh fruit cut up...and lots of vodka and grain alcohol...Course you could use any liquor you wanted and being teenagers.....we put grain in there so we could get REALLY drunk..

But we made it 1- 2 days before drinking it and just eating the fruit was enough to get you plastered.....

This sounds delish! I've never eaten fruit in alcohol before! Unless you count the lime in the margarita.

Nope..that doesn't count..This fruit alone will get you drunk!

If you take a straw and poke it through some fresh strawberries, it will literally turn the strawberries white because they absorb so much alcohol (and they don't taste very good either!).

We have a luau every year and everyone's covered most of what we do. One thing that is always a big hit is a hawaiian pineapple cake with cream cheese frosting. It's sooo good and easy to make. PM me if you would like the recipe. Also, I get drink name tags (they say Hello, this drink belongs to and stick using static cling). They work well on bottles and the big red cups, but not on the margarita glasses.

Great suggestions...we're having a Buffett/Tiki birthday party for my soon-to-be 7 year old Parakeet and this thread hits the spot. (family and friends, the kiddie party will be more tame.)

I was beginning to believe that my wife and I were crazy...but we've found a home with folks just like us, so I guess its ok.
