I picked up Somewhere Over China and Coconut Telegraph this weekend. Stumbled onto a used record store and checked the bins. I was bummed when the owner said someone had been in the day before and bought a lot of Buffett. I'll have to go back when I am on vacation there next month.

If anyone’s eyes catch copies of Van Morrison’s Moondance and/or His Band and The Street Choir where both each include gatefolds and lyric inserts, it would be much appreciated. Lots of art missing from those CD releases…

No luck with any JB LPs today, but I picked up CSNY- American Dream, Hank Williams Jr.- Greatest Hits, and Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis- The Survivors. I'm still in need of a few JB LPs, I'll keep searchin'.

I saw a Billy Joel 52nd Street LP today. It was labled as an "audiophile pressing". Never heard of that, seems it was pressed at a slower speed but plays at the normal 33 1/3. I don't really understand it.
It was $7. I'd be happy to pick it up in anyone here wants it.
The only Buffett they had was Changes. Don't need that.

There's a rare version of
Changes out there that comes in a single sleeve which includes a short acoustic snippet of the title track.

I have 2 copies of that one. I don't know about the single sleeve though.
As "Landfall" fades out a short accoustic version of "Changes" fades in.
You can tell if the record has it on it by looking for the grooves after Landfall.

If I'm not mistaken, this edition of
Changes came out after MCA got a hold of the catalog and did away with all the old gatefold covers. They did the same thing to the Skynyrd albums and I'm guessing any artist that was on the MCA roster at the time.

Well now I have to go back and look at that one. Sounds interesting. For $3 it is worth it.

This site is invaluable when it comes to knowing what to look for as far as rarities are concerned:

Floridays
(I also picked up Havana Daydreamin, but that one is already promised to someone!)
Who wants 'em?
No payment required...buy me a beer when we're at a show together....I got these all for cheap.
First person to PM me with an address and the name of the album they want will be the proud owner of that record!

Spring, TX
Spring Hill, FL
Green Cove Springs, FL
Weird....

I guess when you put an offer like that up for free stuff people just "spring" for it!
I wonder if the Simpsons are JB phans. If so, then you can send Coco Tell to
Springfield!

OK....more available! These will go to the first person to send me a PM with a name/address/album wanted.
I found:
*CILCIA. Great condition!
*White Sport Coat & Pink Crustacean. Good condition, inner sleeve is simple clear plastic.
*Living & Dying in 3/4 Time. Found 2 copies, already promised one to someone. This one is a bit beat up.
*SOASOAS: Pretty good condition. Inner sleeve is in great shape!
Who wants 'em? PM me!
