The recorded voicemail calls I can do without entirely.
And I heard the call in show after the GW concert. That was a little overdone too- they need to screen some of the callers.

Hmmmm....I don't have Sirius but have been an RM listener. I was personally disappointed on Monday evening to hear a call-in show after the concert. It just took away the good post-show atmosphere and feel.
Reading through these posts, however, it seems as though RM wasn't prepared to begin broadcasting on Sirius. Change was certainly in the cards, but when things are still being "worked out" to this extent and segments with a loyal following disappear only to supposedly later reappear, it's disappointing. It reminds me of, but is inconsistent with a Jimmy quote from "Tales From Margaritavision"...when introducing the "Another Saturday Night" video which showed the CRB in rehearsals: "what you see is a band working hard behind the curtain to make what comes out in front of the curtain look easy." It seems that with RM on Sirius, there wasn't enough work done behind the curtain, so what we're getting is rather sloppy...and that's uncharacteristic, to me.

I just wish for one show, put the Intermission in. I want to hear the Johnny Carson bit through the Stereo. Perhaps there is a copyright issue. But either way I think the switch to the post show is too quick. Let the crowd noise after the last song hold for about 15 seconds then fade out. Also I think the Hot Hot Hot should remain. Other then that I like Sirius for the stuff I can't hear on commercial radio any more.

I want to agree with what Moogy said.
Someone, please, tell Wayne to quit talking over the concert and at the end, please, let Jimmy finish that last note before Sirius jumps in.

Hot Hot Hot is how you know you're supposed to get that beer before becoming stationary at the 'puter to post with your BN and BW friends!
Without it, I am lost!

While were nit-picking, the increased playing of Spanish songs is starting to get annoying. If I want to hear Spanish speaking songs, I’m sure there are a lot of Mexican stations that play it 24/7.

It seems like they are playing more current type songs that are played on radio (run off the mill type) not the off the wall stuff that RM is known for

Agreed El mojito, and unfortunate; it was the off the wall stuff that made RM fun. A number of times I would hear something, Google the artist's name or the song title, find their web site and buy their CD. Got some really cool trop rock by some obscure artists that way. Unfortunately, this may be a thing of the past.
But, we shall see...

I believe we lost one of the few Free Pirate PC station
the new cry of BN will now be "FREE" Margaritaville Radio

The Charlotte, NC show from Feb has the Johnny Carson intermission. Gotta love having concerts pre-Sirius.

a friend of mine loves Larry the Cable Guy.
I told him he should just come on stage and say "Get er done" followed by "that's funny right there, I don't care who you are" and then say "thank you goodnight"

I love having RM on Sirius, but like a lot of folks, I can do without the call in show. I want to hear music, not people that don't really have a lot to say (BG being the exception, of course). And did anyone have a problem hearing the jock when he was talking to people on the phone, especially when Steve called in? It was like listening to someone in the same room talking on the phone, you only hear half of the conversation.

Yea, sounds like the Mic in the studio is on a automatic gain. (Best way I can describe it, not sure if that's the real problem).

All right folks, to quote something I once saw on a billboard: "Kwitchyerbellyachin!" Things will settle down soon with RM & Sirius; whatever happened to patience?
Doncha have a license to chill???

My sense is that the priority was in getting RM up and running on Sirius before this leg of the tour, so I think everything will settle out nicely.
But yo, Sirius, please don't talk over songs, and although it's past tense now, this veteran asks that you NEVER, EVER AGAIN talk over the Star Spangled Banner.....
