Does anyone know if Chicago is going to be cracking down.

I'm quite certain the only "tailgating" will be inside the bars around Wrigley. The neighborhood was very resistant to having a concert there. Thery're not going to tolerate partying in the streets. I fortunately have a friend who lives 2 blocks away where I'll be kicking off the day at.

aren't you lucky? Can we come too?

It's my first buffett concert and would love to "tailgate" before hand.

I would think the chances are not good. One of the biggest reasons other than the ban on it, is that there really are not any lots big enough to handle it. As has been stated many times, parking is going to be very, very difficult and if you do find it it real be very, very expensive. DO NOT park in the neighborhoods. You will come out and find your car towed. This is also big bucks. I believe the ticket is $50 and the tow fee is another $150.

Since there is not "a parking lot" at Wrigley, I would guess there will not be any tailgating.
There will be this as a possible alternative:
