the mrs. and i will be there again this year, floor seats section D
as far as the pre-party goes...they usually block off the street next to margaritaville for a big pre-party. there is also usually a party at the mgm back behind the pool...not sure if that is still planned with all the new condo construction...
nevertheless, i have never had a problem locating very large margaritas the day of the show

Put it this way; the high roller that got the seats I was lucky enough to sit in last year, gambles enough to have the MGM/Mirage's private jet flown out to pick him up when he wants to gamble. I was sitting next to the President and VP of TI (who actually left at intermissionA Balding Fan wrote:My Hotel (Harrahs(we have one out here)) is already giving me Friday night, Saturday night, and sunday night free Hotel stay ( 710 dollar stay) they asked why I was coming out, told them, so with the more comp points I will accumulate in the next few months---hopefully getting better seats will be easy, if not--maybe upgrade me to a presidental suite.

The hotels above obviously have the best selection of seats since they are in all in the same family.
I probably coulda told them I wanted free airfare out there too--and they probably would have said Yes.

The better view of the stage will be in U6 (though a long way away). The better party will probably be on the floor, though it is more difficult to see as the floor is flat and you will have a few folks in front of you and they will all be standing and dancing.....jugiefruit wrote:A question for all the Vegas veterans. I have two sets of tickets, one Sec J Row D on the floor and another U6 Row V. I have never been to the Grand Garden Arena. Which seats are closer to the stage or have a better view?
We like the sections from 13 on stage right and 14 on stage left and forward (toward the stage), below the first main walkway. The best seats we ever had were in floor B in the 12th row, dead center......awesome!
