Not that I know of. Most of the hotels out there don't heat the pool, which is why they close at night and in the Fall/Winter.
BTW, the website shows it open from 9-5 during October. So we'll see.
OOPS! I completely forgot. I'll call her today and see what the deal is. I can guess what she's going to say..... depends on the weather.
Don't give them a heads up....if they know you are coming, they'll surely close it!!!

I'll know the answer to that later. I know that they keep the lower lagoon pool a constant 70 degrees in the summer, while the upper pool is a bit warmer.

Not sure if this has been posted but we are fortunate to have 1 extra hour to party after the JB concert. Daylight savings time comes to a close at 2am, Sunday October 30th. Please use your extra hour "responsibly"

Staying at the Imperial Palace. Should be arriving late afternoon depending on the traffic on the 15.

Pool time at the Flamingo is a must ..no matter what the temperature...almost. Up here in Coeur d'Alene we've got to bring the dock in at our lake cabin in the Fall -and the water's got to be 55 degrees..now that's a manly endeavor!! Hell, if I can withstand that torture the Flamingo Pool is a tropical heaven on the worst of conditions!!

Hi everybody,
Didn't get a chance to post the obligatory post yesterday. Sorry! Just a heads up though for anyone staying at the Flamingo as we are. I had booked some time ago (think back in August) and since then prices had gone down and I've gotten our rates reduced 4 different times. The rates for Fri. and Sat. are back up again, but the Thurs. rate is down to $70.00. Thought this might be of some help to some of you. I'm sure that there are some lucky ones here that have comp rooms. but for those of us that don't, then maybe this is a chance to have some extra cash for the slots or some margaritas!
Countdown is on!!!

ASH will be at a Black Jack table during the day and most likely be at Tangerine, ICE, Rain, and/or Drais during the nights. LS3 will be somewhere in Southern Nevada.
Who's going to LMS?
Nope, its in Vegas and I don't go there.
Who's going to the Alley party at Flamingo?
I'll be in some alley.
And don't forget the MGM Pool Party?
A little too far down the strip for me.

Who's gonna slide down the Margaritaville volcano together with the cute

If CRC has her way...

Go next door (Margaritaville) and have the Incommunicado. Trust me, they're worth it!

Ok,
Don't know 'bout LMS yet - gotta play that by ear.
Start time of "alley party"? (what the heck is that)?
MGM pool party - start time?
Incommunicado (2nd time mentioned) - what is it and what's in it?
Does anyone go to Margaritaville prior to concert?

We are at the Flamingo from Friday until Monday. Will be at the Margaritaville alley party and the MGM pool party. Not sure about this sliding down the volcano with a cute waitress, but I am always willing to try new things

.
exbbmom is right about the rates at the Flamingo. Both Thursday and Sunday nights are $70 but the w/e rates are still triple digits.
2 weeks to go!

A glass of alcohol goodness! Little fruity, but not too sweet. Unless you're ordering top-shelf margaritas, I'd stick with this one for taste.

I don't really like Margaritas anyway - usually just have one - then move on to something else - love those frozen fruity drinks!

J- What kind of alcohol is in it? Where do you recommend getting them at?

½ oz Rum
½ oz Cointreau®
¼ oz Bombay Sapphire® Gin
¼ oz Grenadine
1 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Cranberry Juice
1 oz Margaritaville® Margarita Mix
Combine ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a margarita glass with ice.
