Las Vegas - Parrotheads have reason to celebrate when the annual entertainment event “Parrot’s Paradise” returns to the pool at MGM Grand Saturday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 29 from 4-7:30 p.m. The festival atmosphere is held in conjunction with the Jimmy Buffett concerts which begin at 8 p.m. in the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Admission to Parrot’s Paradise is free.


Buffett uses his travels and storytelling skills to explain the world at large to his far-flung legion of fans, affectionately known as Parrotheads. The colorful, tropical and outrageous outfits Parrotheads are known for are inspired by the lyrics of Buffett’s songs.


A variety of entertainment options will be offered throughout the event at Parrot’s Paradise. Merchandise will be available for an additional charge. Live entertainment featuring Uncle Monkey will take place at the Producer’s Pool from 5-7:30 p.m.


Additional entertainment offered at Parrot’s Paradise include Flowers of Paradise and Clint Carvalho & The Parrot Girls, who will be available for a photo opportunity with beautiful birds and women.

Tickets for the Jimmy Buffett concert priced at $200, $100 and $65, not including applicable service charges, are now on sale at any MGM Grand box office outlet. Tickets also are sold at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (Tower Records, Smith’s Food and Drug Centers, Robinsons-May stores and select Wherehouse locations). Ummm, I met up with you last time I wasn't in Vegas for a show. My hour lunch turned into an all day drankin event.
