No one has downloaded from this yet... is this legit? I just got a new computer to replace my virus infected old on and am paranoid about downloading stuff now.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. :)

Bittorrent can be a little slow sometimes depending on peoples connections
TorrentMatrix also has a delay system in place meaning that new members and members who have a low share ratio have to wait a number of hours before they can have access to new files.

Judging by the size of the flac files I am thinking that this has
never been in mp3 format, so the quality should be better than
the same show that is on the stoney's ftp site which is mp3

As far as viruses are concerned you should make sure that you have a really good antivirus program that will scan everything that you download.

Great Woods show on CD

Post by amccraw »

I have the 1st have of the Great Woods show on CD will probably have the second set done tonight. It sounds great. I taped it off of Sirius direct to my sound card. I cut it into tracks and am very happy with it. Anyone interested in a copy let me know.

the flacs here and what i converted my wav's from. MP3's s***, wavs are better (old school taper here)...thus it sounds better. I mean, all the sourcing is all digital, I think the view knowledgeable tapers/traders would see a slight difference,, but nothing noticable to the novice downloader

The message that you are getting is telling you that you have another 6 hours to wait before you will be allowed to start downloading the file. They have a wait period for new members and for members who have a low ratio, if you do download the show from this site make sure that you continue to seed the show until you have uploaded at least as much as you download. That is what makes bittorrent work. Have a read through the site's FAQ for more info.

Thank you Pablo for seeding this, my wait period is over and I am looking forward to hearing this

Ok, I'm an idiot. I went to this site...I tried to dowload the file....and my computer doesn't recognize the file type. How do I fix that? It is stored as flac.torrent. Huh???

Thanks to ANYONE who can help me here...I'm so confused. I don't know how computers work, I just want them TO work! ;-)

Thanks, B

stoney's ftp site is bootlegs.jimmydreamz.com

to get your computer to play a flac file you have to download a flac codec i use http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html its free after you download click add files open the folder with the flac files highlight and open once theyre in the screen click decode and it does it all automatically then when you look in the folder you will have the flac file and a new wave file that will play with your media player and can be burned to cd hope that helps btw flac is a lossless audio file so you dont lose any sound quality
