I have to say (I know, I have said it before) that Native Wayne gets under my skin with his pre & post concert jabber. :o :o

Let's see what everybody else thinks!

He is far and away the absolute worst radio personality I have ever heard... And I know that I tend to exaggerate my point on some things, but I assure you, this is no exaggeration. They need to get rid of him before I just quit listening to the shows altogether...

The other night he was interviewing this woman and he introduced her as a "veteran parrothead"... The first question he asked was "how many shows have you been too?" Her response, "2! This being the second one." Wayne was just like, "oh, good"..... I nearly fell over laughing!

I think they should either go back to Steve Huntington or go with Savannah Jane. Last night was the first time I heard her and she sounded really good (before RM cut me off! )

Maybe he wouldn't be so bad if the people that call in don't have a clue half the time who Buffett really is and are totally wasted.

"Yeah I bought my first Buffett album 20 minutes before the show. I was really happy he played that Margaritaville and Cheeseburger song. I really like it and I worried he won't play it!"

He's the R.M. deejay who's been doing the past few concerts on line.
Speaking of which, it appears once again I'm the resident black sheep-BIG surprise, because I LIKE the guy, and voted as such.

That could be why. I don't listen to the concerts on-line; its too depressing not to be there. :pirate:

This is soooo true! Typically, when he interviews a "Parrot Head", it seems that when asked their favorite Jimmy Buffett song answer either with FINS, VOLCANO, CIP or Margaritaville.

I give it a 75, it has a nice beat and it's easy to dance to.

THAT is soooo true. Those are usually the "fans" who show up just to get drunk, and could care less if Jimmy sings Puff the Magic Dragon or Fernando.
Mention Floirdays, Salome, or Remittance Man to them, and they're clueless!

That's why I still go to concerts, I'm waiting for him to do those songs.
