Fireworks planned for the Jimmy Buffett concert Sunday at PNC Park on the North Shore have created a zone boaters should avoid in the Allegheny River.
The concert also has led to some changes in docking ability this evening and Sunday, as well as the opening of the Mon River Wharf for automobile parking.
Boaters will be allowed to dock at any of the Allegheny River tie-ups until 10 p.m. tonight, when the Gateway Clipper fleet's Majestic is moved to a spot near PNC Park. Signs will indicate areas to be avoided by other boaters, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
At 8:45 p.m. Sunday, about a half-hour before the fireworks are scheduled to begin, boats will not be allowed to dock near a safety zone that extends midway across the river. It goes from a spot halfway between the Roberto Clemente and Seventh Street bridges to an area near the river rescue unit by the Clemente span.

i WILL BE THERE ON THE 25TH
Were going for the saturday show, never seen him in Philly / Camden. Can't wait. How is the tailgaiting there?
I'll be there the 27th, with my family
Any idea what the tailgaiting situation will be. We always go to Nissan where the party starts at noon.
No idea, but I think they should be very lenient. Not many apartments/houses in the immediate vicinity, plus Eagles fans probably tailgated starting at 8 AM during the season. Prob. wouldn't change to much for Buffett

We have tickets but no parking pases, do you know if you need those to get into the tailgaiting lots?

A venue you can arrive at by boat.
How cool is that?!?!?!?!?!
Live by the Bay? 20 years later.
Another venue you can "sail into!"
He should play SBC Ballpark in San Fran.
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

I doubt you need parking passes, save that money for the $40 they charge for tour t-shirts.... but I'm not positive, it's just a guess. My family is going sans parking passes.

I feel like I'm asking if JB played M'Ville or Fins, but did he play Mexico or Lighthouse?
Played a great version of Mexico, no Lighthouse though. I was holding out hope that he'd play a Buffett song b/c Buffett is playing Lighthouse and JB said at one of his concerts that he recently talked to JT, but no Buffett song. JT did play Summertime Blues as an encore though.
