I goota say- he almost NEVER plays this live. It's my #1 that he has- and to hear this live is someting VERY special that everyone got to hear at GW. I wish I was there for it. I can only hope I will ever hear it it played at a show I am at.

by Goodman
I was happy to go back to the treasure chest for this one. It was around June 1973:
Jimmy Buffett on Acoustic Rhythm Guitar
Steve Goodman on Acoustic Lead Guitar
Sammy Creason on Drums
Greg "Fingers" Taylor on Harmonica
???
The song has suffered over the years with the loss of Fingers. Nothing beats the original. Sorry.

He closed his show with it at Great Woods in '01 (
the Thursday show) ... just him, alone, with his acoustic guitar ... it was
AWESOME!
