Christina, consider yourself lucky...

My night went like this. I worked my first job from 10am-3pm and then my second from 330-1030. I got out of work and drove back home but I had to stop by my friends birthday bonfire on the beach to see all my friends. I promiced myself I wouldnt drink or stay long since I have to work all day tomorrow. So I stay at the bonfire for a while and then we all leave. As we leave the cops show up and arrest my friend for holding a beer. Now I never complain about police because I respect them and their job so much but this cop was an ass. His quote was "who wants to open their mouths cuz I'm in the mood to arrest someone." As he arrested my friend the other 2 cops came over to me and no joke apologized to me for the other officer being a jerk and arresting my friend.

So my buddy gets taken into custody at 130 and I am the only sober one around so I have to call the police station to figure everything out. I call the station and the officer is answering every single one of my questions with "I cannot comment." So I end up driving in town to the Falmouth police station at 2am. The officer at the desk says it will be a while till I can bail him out. I end up waiting an hour until the bail officer shows up at which point I have to shell out $40 (of the tip money I made tonight working).

The funny part is my friend's dad is one of the highest ranking state troopers in Massachusetts so we called his dad to let him know what happened. His dad called the station to see what happened and my buddy said the officers almost s*** their pants because they thought his dad was going to get all the officers in trouble for arresting his son. They asked my buddy "why didnt you tell us your dad was a statie?" and he just said he didnt want to be a jerk about it.

I just dropped my buds off at their house and now I am off to get some much needed sleep before I woek a triple shift at the restaurant tomorrow. I cant begin to explain how much I miss the Buffett concerts already

Christina by the way, my friend who got in trouble tonight was the one I brought to your tailgating on Wednesday. He was the one wearing blue flower swimming shorts. I actually think we all took a picture together.

That s*cks, was it a summer rent a cop as i like to call them on The Cape. technically your not suppose to have open liquor on the beach and they can arrest you. But i've never seen it done. Unless you get these guys who try to act tough and trying to make a name for themselves.

What resturant on The Cape?

dear... I have told you: sipping good tequila is better than shooting 51% agave mixto crap like Cuervo Gold. It cuts down on the hangovers, and keeps you from appearing on "Cops" or being on a first-name basis with the servers and staff of "The Garden of Eden" (like SideW... )

So I guess the song "My Head Hurts, My Feet Stink, and I Don't Love Jesus" is your favorite song this morning?
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Last night...hhhmmmm

\ I cooked Shrimp Etoufee' (Spelling??) and cleaned up. My F-I-L is recovering from hip replacement and I helped his with some stuff (He came for a visit in April, liked a ortho specialist here and stayed!) I cleaned up the mess. Took the little one outside to catch (and release) lightening bugs. Helped the older keet finish packing for camp (he leaves today). I ironed church clothes while watching a re-run of Cheaters. (I LOVE THIS SHOW!!) I let the dogs out once more for the evening. Back in with them, and I was off to bed...WOOHOO!!!! But, this morning I am not hung over...is that a good thing or bad???
"Mommy, when is Jimmy Buffett coming to OUR house? We go see him ALL THE TIME??" (Actual quote from my 5 y/o keet)

Yeah.. "Badging" is such a deal. Creates the dual-tier law-enforcement. Thank goodness your friend had the style to avoid taking that "out"

The restaurant is called Ridino's. It's a small place in Falmouth Heights. As for the cop, he just seemed like a jerk. I completely understand that cops have to prevent drinking on beaches and stuff but he acted like we were selling drugs or something the way he was treating him. He even like grabbed his arm and literally dragged him through the sand. And the thing is not one of us were drunk and no one was being rude or anything; we were just trying to leave.

O well, sorry I will end this thread now and go to the daily chat thread :pirate:

Lets see last night me and a few friends went to Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach. After waking up this morning I can say we spent a few to many hours there, and drank a lot more than I thought I was going to. But it was worth it. Good food, good drinks, good friends, good time. Cant beat it. Just glad I am not the one who has to drive back to Columbia today.
