Yeah, but not as well as the Larry would've.

I still can't believe I met you in real life and here and didn't know you were the same person!

Just my 2 cents

We had a wonderful time at the concert. We stayed at Springhill Suites overlooking the tailgaiting and PNC Park. We left about 5:15 for the concert, entered through the left field gates, and had no problems. We were in our seats ( for the first time just 8 rows from the stage!) well ahead of the national anthem and "Hot, Hot, Hot!" Security was visible, but not overbearing. Jimmy was fantastic! We commented that we hope we are doing as well when we are "58!" We had brought several "virgins" to the concert with us. Well, needless to say, they are tried and true parrotheads now! Anyway, this is our 2 cents.

Sorry it posted twice  Not my fault! (Or it's, my own damn fault!)

Stadium sound was not very good.

I was at the concert Sunday and it just wasn't the same as at Post-Gazette. The tailgating was better at Post-Gazette. The concert sounded better there also. AT PNC, I was sitting in Sec. 114 and you could not understand any of the talking that anybody did up stage. Being that far back, you really couldn't see very well either compared to the lawn seats I've been used too. STADIUMS just aren't made for concerts!!!!!!
The stadium staff was mostly rude and no help. They just stood around looking at what was happening and not doing their job. No directing of traffic in or out. The scanning of tickets was terrible. It took several swipes for each ticket before it gave a green light. Later, I could see people who didn't have field seats jump over and get into the area and no one did a thing about it. Watching the 'big' screens did no good at the start.
I don't know yet if I'll go back to PNC for any concert.

No matter what anyone says, there aren't many venues where you can do this - (photos courtesy of spainjane)

Walk from the tailgate to the river...
(Bartender Hubby and palmtreepirate)

Put in some tubes and tie them up to a floating cooler full of beer...
(fanvan)

Hang out with your buds while drinking beer and chillin...
(spainjane, Bartender Hubby, LesPaul30, Big Phan, fan van, Mrs. Play)

And convince a random jet skier to pull you around the river.
(Bartender Hubby, spainjane, Big Phan, Mr. Phan, Mrs. Play, fan van, LesPaul30, Sea Doo Dave)

Yeah, we had fun :pirate:

Hey Four Play, there is nothing better than the realization of a dream!!!

You came, you saw and you conquered the mighty river. Awesome PIC's

You should label each one with the names of your compatriots. I believe I see FanVan in one of the tubes.

" just a few friends, just a few friends"

And I've learned much from both of their styles.

Maybe I should have gone tubing, the photographer's a babe. Of course, I would have needed a heavy duty life jacket since I swim like a stone.

Yahoo said the file was inaccessible, then it told me to sign in. I'm already signed in but it still wouldn't work. Damn technology. Give me the good old days when we used sundials and didn't have to worry about any of this stuff.

Try it one more time. I see where the setting somehow jumped from "public" to "private". I've reset it back to "public".  :-?

OK, that worked. You got some good shots of the tubing. Looks a lot cooler than sweating my onions off in the parking lot.

Wooo Hooooo!!!! Thanks for being my guinea pig on this, Larry. Even if you aren't a swimmer, the fountain (shots 4 & 5) sure was inviting!
