I am seeing Jimmy in Philly on the 25th and 27th, and was just wondering if anyone sat behind home plate and by third base in Pittsburgh. How were the seats and the sound????? Hope they were good..

Where you at in Philly on the 25th? I think I'm right around that section too.

My concern is more that this is the first concert at Citizens Bank, whether that's good or bad I'm unsure.

i sat behind homeplate at phenway and i have no complaints. Yes we were far away but thats nothing that the venue could help. The sound was great.

On the field is different than other typical venues since there is no "stadium seating"- everyone is on the same level, which can make it difficult for others to see the stage. I sat home plat at Pitt last night, and had to take a hat off since it was blocking views.....

I was a little afraid of sitting on the field at Fenway. But the stage was high enough so that all could see.

We sat 4 rows up in the stands behind the Pirates dugout. Great seats and much better sound than Charlotte or Columbia in doors this year. In fact, sound was great back at the concession stands in the concourse.

I think that these seats are probably better than the back half of the field seats, because everyone on the field is on the same level.

We chose these seats over field seats at home plate and were glad that we did.

There's a buzz over Jimmy's Fall swing that should land in SD between Vegas shows.

Petco Park is now aggressively courting special events outside of Padres season,
and with the Rolling Stones playing at the ballpark in Nov., we can't help but wonder.... hmmmmm  :pirate:
