Don't give up hope. I've heard from a sometimes reliable source that Philips Arena (yes, indoors) was in negotiations for a date in the fall. Jimmy has not skipped Atlanta completely in a year in over 20 years. Has something to do with the very early days when he played every night at the Bistro on Peachtree St.

I had heard back in February that he had decided to curtail touring in the summer a bit, and that Atlanta would not get a summer show. If everyone remembers, he skipped a summer show in 2002, but we got a show in November.

Cayman, I also have source with connections to Phillips that says negotiations have been , maybe still are going on for a Fall show. It's not a summer show at Lakewood but better than not at all. (During football season is not my first choice either ) If I hear anything I'll be sure and post it here.

Maybe he's waiting to come to Atlanta on my birthday in November....

I am still thinking October/November for the grand opening of CIP near Perimeter. I hope it's not on a football Saturday/travel day.
