tiki bar
Hey I was wanting to build a realtively inexpensive basic tiki bar by my pool. I was wondering if anyone had any blueprints or plans on how to do this. I cant build squat but Hey it does not hurt to try.

Re: tiki bar
There are several kits online that might be about the same price. We built one and spent about $300 total on it.rmcalhoun wrote:Hey I was wanting to build a realtively inexpensive basic tiki bar by my pool. I think Target had a bar at least and you could build the "Tiki" part around it. I think you could get it online.rmcalhoun wrote:Hey I was wanting to build a realtively inexpensive basic tiki bar by my pool. I was wondering if anyone had any blueprints or plans on how to do this. If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Re: tiki bar
you can always get a couple of old Pallets, put 'em on end, nail a sheet of ply wood to the top, get some grass or fish netting and wrap around it and have the good 'ole "Beachcomber style" tiki bar.....rmcalhoun wrote:Hey I was wanting to build a realtively inexpensive basic tiki bar by my pool. Re: tiki bar
Party City had a tiki bar kit for 59.99. Looked kind of cool, but I didn't look too hard to see how good of quality.rmcalhoun wrote:Hey I was wanting to build a realtively inexpensive basic tiki bar by my pool. I was too preoccupied by the huge inflatable margarita
It even had a lime
Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all..
