Tailgating in Philadelphia?

Post by BoatDrinkSweetie »

I'm still living off the high from the two Tweeter shows last week and have come to realize I can't wait another year to see Jimmy again. I was thinking of getting tickets to the Saturday Philadelphia show. Is anyone familiar with the baseball stadium there and it's parking lot setup? Is this a place where they'll allow tailgating. I only want to go if I'm going to enjoy the full Jimmy Buffett experience, which as we all know, must include the tailgating phanfare. Any thoughts?

There was a parking lot ticket you could purchase through New Era Tickets for 20 dollars. Don't know if there are any left.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

This may help you to understand the parking. If you go to new era, or find a tailgating ticket, it's lots m and n. I don't know what the other lots are (I only have a tailgating ticket). There is an oversized vehicle ticket and a regular parking ticket as well.

Scroll all the way to the bottom to see the lot labels
Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all..

Camden ALWAYS had a great parking lot. I expect CBP to be nothing less.

Parking Pass Purchased

Post by BoatDrinkSweetie »

Ok, thanks for the advice. I've purchased my parking pass to tailgate. Now I just have to work on getting some good tickets... just a minor detail :)

I was in Philly last weekend to see 2 Red Sox - Phillies games and there is plenty of parking lots around the stadium. In fact the only thing around the stadium are parking lots, the football stadium and the basketball arena, nothing else.

People were taligating before both baseball games so it looks like they allow it.
