I had a 2nd home there for over 20 yrs...Loved going there! It's beautiful...and a great place to visit..and if I still had it, I would have met Sweetness and Light Cate by now.....so there!

Have you ever been to Times Square in the past 10 years? NY is a better place than you make it out to be.RinglingRingling wrote:yeah, in winter. with hookers outside the door. perhaps you missed the humour... and yes, I have heard about the sanitization of Times Square.jonesbeach10 wrote:Have you ever been to Times Square in the past 10 years? Plus, it would be even better if its cold out because one minute you're freezing your buns off, the next you're in Maragaritaville.
Duuuude.... you need to grow a sense of humour. and understand the combination of concepts "satire" and "surrealism". Having spent more time in Spokane and Boise than you have, I am quite familiar with the weather there, and the incongruity of locating a restaurant with an exotic, tropical theme in either of them.jonesbeach10 wrote:Plus its not like it ever gets cold in Boise or Spokane. No, not those hot, steamy, exotic locales.
Not exactly true, but not really much need to argue the finer points either. Let's just say that at first pass, CBiP and M'ville are similar.Glorfindel7 wrote:I just got back from Vegas and Margaritaville in Vegas and I spend quite a few weekends at Cheeseburger in Paradise. In all fairness CIP and Margaritaville are about the same, one is a little bigger. You probably have a better chance at getting a CIP than a Margaritaville in your hometown, but the experience should be the same....

Somehow, the humour is lost when you have to explain the joke. If you don't get it, just consider a post in the "Way Homer" category.
