I was a Chevy guy till I bought a Pontiac. And it has been a great car. My mechanic says as soon as it goes past 160,000, I'm in trouble, but I've got a ways to go till then.
Dumb and drunk as I was, you know I would do it all again.

For starters...

Chevrolet
Ford
Dodge

Which one is your favorite, or do you have one?

Are you loyal to American automobiles or buy foreign?
Sweetie, if you want a pole, have I got a pole for you.

I drive a Dodge Intrepid - built in Canada with parts made in the USA

I build parts for Chrysler, Ford, and GM. A lot of parts get shipped to Mexico, Canada, Austria, and a few get to stay here in the USA.
So if you want an American built car, buy a Toyota  .

My second love:

I used to be a hardcore GM man but IMHO they lost the edge in 2002 when they decided to axe the F-Body and focus on SUV's and "front wheel drive import clones." At that time they said that there wasn't a market for "a reasonably priced Muscle Car" anymore. Well, it doesn't take an automobile market analyst to see how quickly the new Ford Mustangs are flying off of the showroom floors. Right now the only two choices GM offers are the Corvette, which the average Joe can't afford, and the Pontiac GTO.

So, I'll just hold onto to my souvenir of "a better time" and drive it til' the wheels fall off!

Just like their decision to get out of the rear-wheel drive sedan market... Whoever does the planning for GM really needs to be beaten with a brick in a sack.

Only Toyotas (or Hondas in a pinch) are allowed to live in our driveway in the car/truck category. Hubby's workvan is a Chevy something. And of course the bike is as American as it gets-Harley.
