No worries, it didn't have anything to do with the list. I never had the list for this show, since I was a late addition. I had CRC's number before, but my cell phone broke, and I lost everyone's number.

I was the lunatic in the bright yellow shirt, directly across from you, in the front row of the section, about 15 feet from the edge of the stage. When Jimmy did 5 O'Clock Somewhere and got to our side, he pointed right at me and the couple next to me and said, "I KNOW it's been five o'clock for you people all day long!" (We were definitely having a great time singing and dancing up there!! )

I got a seat up there at one o'clock Saturday afternoon, from the MGM box office.... I'm thinking my karma level must have been pegged....

and when ya think about it...the planes are free for the client..there is no dollar value..how can ya get in trouble for taking something worth nothing? hehehehehhehehehhe.

Well, you were directly under the light when you were deflating your plane...haha! I couldn't actually hear what security was saying to you, but they seem to have a bit of a 'tude...I have to admit I found it rather amusing I was actually going to wait til the end of the concert (since the plane was right in front of my chair), but after you and then later another guy tried to take OUR plane, I decided I better deflate it before I ended up have to fight someone...haha

Of course, they are meant to be pyrated. In April, when we decorated our pre-party for the Santa Barbara show with blowups and banners from Corona & Margaritaville Tequila...we told the venue that they would be taken (and they were happy because less cleanup for them).

The planes in question were blowup Corona Sea Planes at the Mac concert. There were probably 3-4 large ones and some small ones.

When we entered the venue, it was fairly crowded on the floor, but they had balcony seating that was pretty empty. Our group scored the seats immediately above stage left (awesome!). Right in front of my chair was one of the large planes, which we immediately claimed. Then Bumper came over to try and pyrat it, not aware I had already layed pyrat claim to it. A little while later, another less friendly fellow came over to try and take it and I had to firmly let him know that it was OUR plane. Shortly after that I decided to deflate it to dissuade any other would be pyrats. I was surprised at how long it actually took to deflate the large ones. Meanwhile Bumper, good pyrat that he is, immediately had gone to the other side of the balcony to acquire one of the other planes. Apparently, being as his seats were under a light and closer to security, they spotted him and had a little discussion with him (he'll have to tell you what they said). I had safely deflated the plane and had it stowed under our table for safe keeping from pyrats, security, or other scoundrels. At the same time Bumper was getting harassed by security the two Extra Large Corona bottles in front of the stage were being pyrated...as well as pretty much all of the other decos.

Another addition to our traveling Tiki Bar...next stop Phins to the West! CheetoGyrl, we may need to take the Pyrat Truck to haul all of our booty...the Lexus just isn't big enough!!

Anyway...that's my semi-true story of the planes at the Mac concert.

ARRRRRRRRRGGGGG,,,it weren't to bad....I am thinkn the fella was just followin orders and he quickly realized he was surrounded by the imment threat of marauding parrotheads.....distasteful for him as that was.....he soon realized how harmless we really were......he took a second and reflected on his orders.........came back sheepishly with a good to go wave of the hand followed by.....anything else ya want....wait till after the show....YA PIRATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE,,,,,another wanna be converted !!!!!!

Dont know if anyone commented on this or not, but the bartenders at MGM were selling all the inflatables as we were leaving the show. Those that were hanging over the bars. Planes, Corona bottles and banners. Not sure where the cash was going but they were making sales. Anyone get one there?

I know several people were talking about wanting the Corona posters and banner strings that were hanging at the San Remo on the 22nd. Wonder who ended up with those this past weekend???
