Salty Piece of Land

Post by misplaced island girl »

I knew he wasn't going to play it (yes --- I read the set lists!), but am I the only one who doesn't know why Salty Piece of Land is NOT on the Salty Piece of Land Tour? Apparently this is a question that bothers me so...

Such a wonderful song....would love to see that live, as I'm sure a lot of people would!

No idea why he isn't playing it.
Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all..

He keeps saying the tour was named for the book.
But that still doesn't answer why he doesn't sing the song.
I really enjoy it :D

He's playing James Taylor's Lighthouse, which he said @ Mohegan Sun was the inspiration phor the book.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Not only should ASPOL be played, but what about "Take Another Road!" It is a great song that would easily fit into the set-list.
"Some people never find it..."

It would be a perfect fit between La Vie Dansante and Lighthouse!
