Thank you, Preacher.
HEAR HEAR!
and a BIG THANK YOU AND HUUUGGZZZ to SchoolGirlHeart for this thread!
Be it known to all, that those that have been said to have fallen in battle, have not and are not fallen..., They were given one last set of orders for one last mission and to come home by the Supreme Commander that all must obey.
Like all good troops everywhere they followed their orders. Mourn not their loss. Do not shame their sacrifice.
Celebrate their memory knowing they did what they loved and lived life knowing and accepting the risks that come with the job.
It takes a special breed and a special kind of person to do Spec Ops... to be willing to give so much to his (or her) nation, doing things and going places that can never be discussed or talked about in the open. Knowing every mission might be your last but go ahead and do the job ...and don't want it any other way.
SAIL ON Brothers and know that while you are not with us here physically, your spirits will always be with us.
All gave some,Some Gave All!
