Chinese fortune cookies

You guys know about how you're supposed to add the words "in bed" to every fortune cookie you get?
Well my hubby and I just ate lunch at a Chinese restaurant.
His fortune was: "An important person will offer you support."
Mine was: "An inch of time is an inch of gold."
Sounds like we've got a great Friday night coming up!!!!
Thought someone might get a chuckle out of that...

I never heard of that. However, it does make the fortune cookie I got for lunch make alot more sense:
"Monkey Boy and Jahfin will find true happiness"

I guess you should only be adding "in bed" to that one if your husband is, well, maybe I better not go there.

We used to get bags of fortune cookies at the local oriental grocery store just for that purpose.
That is some serious giggling right there.

Yep.
A friend of mine told me that about 10 years ago. I've passed it along to everyone I know. Cracks me up, every time.
