I was at a local pub last night and they just hired a goodlooking female bartender. After several (8) beers, I became enamored by her and gave her a 10 dollar tip for 20 dollars of beer.......................

I tip about the same sometimes less. Sometimes I find it more difficult to get the attention (and thus my drinks) from an attractive barmaid. Could be because you are at the other end of the bar flirting with her while I'm trying to place an order.
I don't think I do, but I can say this....I have a girl that works for me named Nadia. VERY HOT. She makes more tips than any of my other bartenders do.
When I ran my saloon in '79-82, I was the only male employee, other than bouncers or cooks. My wait staff and bartenders would get about $30-40 a night (good money back then)
I would get 36 cents and maybe a button and/or some pocket lint.
Kidding aside, anybody who has ever worked for tips is generally an over-tipper for good service and will under tip poor service.
One more thought. My old boss was worth something like $31,000,000 (at least on paper) When we would go out, he would pull a calculator out and figure 15% to the freakin' penny and leave exactly that. So if the bill was $158.50 (15% = 23.775)he would leave $23.77 he never would round up to 23.78

I'm generally known for being a good tipper... if I can afford to spare it...
If someone wants to hit me up with a couple free drinks... then generally I'll add the cost of those "freebies" into the tip... but generally in the past if a female bartender was good looking it did not increase the "tip" itself from me per se... but rather I might have a tendency to always return to her end of the bar - which "increases" the contributions made to her tip jar as opposed to the others

I DO NOT tip good looking bartenders AT ALL.
Since every other schmuck in the place DOES, why shouldn't I keep MY money? Especially when the other bozos have 20-30 years on me to begin with.

I'll PARTIALLY retract my statement. I DO tip very well at HOOTERS restaurants, but guys like you, Kevin, and a few others here who are young & handsome DON'T HAVE to leave tips. The women, if they know what's good for them, will flock to YOU guys and pay YOU! must be nice
I tip everybody, regardless of their looks. 15% for acceptable service/product, 20% for excellent service/product. This includes bartenders, hairdressers, waitresses, and the wonderful people who give me a professional massage every now and then.
My love is staying an anchor tied to you with that silver chain.
I tip 20% always, unless the person is really bad and mean.
If a bartender stands there and talks to us and makes really good drinks, BIG TIP! Looks has absolutely nothing to do with how I/we tip.
Do not resent growing old. Many are denied the privilege.
