I just read that he flew into Myrtle Beach to visit his staff in Magartiaville. He was there for about an hour and then flew back to FLL.

Actually, I'd be willing to bet that if the boatyard knew which employee was blabbing, that employee's job would be in jeopardy.... There are plenty of wealthy folks on the Cape and around Newport who need their boats worked on, with plenty of yards to choose from.... A yard that doesn't protect their privacy is in peril of not getting their business again. And we talking BIG bucks.... The yard hubby used to work in did a $1.5 million refit on a yacht one winter....

As for the privacy issue. I'm not meddling or disturding his privacy in any way I don't believe. His boat repair (similarly to Manny Ramirez's car repair in Falmouth this summer) is something that gets put in the local Falmouth Enterprise and everyone knows about it. And if he in fact were in the area there would be a great chance of him stopping near my work which would be a dream come true. I personally do not think that is disclosing information at all seeing that as it stands everyone in town knows about it.

If it's in the Falmouth Enterprise, then I'd say it's ok to post a link to the story, which would then be public information.

But if it's privileged information to the company that Jimmy is doing business with, then please don't post it here publically. It could disturb his privacy if people read it here on BN, take a couple vacation days, and flock to the location to just hang around hoping to see him.

If you find it out about it in advance, I'd rather you call or email area friends to stalk him. Thanks!

Oh and one more thing... if they all know it, they probably respect his privacy by letting him do his thing without bother and hassle of the locals. If they don't, and conducting business becomes a circus, my guess is he'd try to find another location where it doesn't.

Yea I guess I could have posted my question differently without revealing much information. I had literally received a call from my friend 2 seconds before posting that and was so excited about Jimmy possibly being in town that I wasn't really thinking.

A revised post may be something like this:

I have heard through a source that Jimmy may be in my town having his boat fixed. I am curious as to whether this rumor is true or not for if it were true he very well may stop by my restaurant.
