Hey, all.
We'll be in Myrtle Beach this weekend. Definitely are going to CIP, Margaritaville and the beach, but can anyone with knowledge of the area give us some tips on other things to do.
We're a family of four with an 8-year-old and 5-year-old.
Thanks in advance and fins up!!!!!!!!

there's an aquarium in MB, a Ripley's believe it or not museum, a pavillion with rides, and a thousand minature golf courses for the kids. Hard Rock Cafe, Nascar cafe and lots of dinner theater establishments with themes. There's a great sculpture garden called Brookgreen Gardens just south of MB, if its not too hot for you.

Less crowded beaches at Surfside and Garden City (south of MB). Stop by Sam's Corner in Garden City for a footlong corndog and the best jalapeno cheddar burger I've ever had. Inlet Crab House in Murrel's Inlet for the best she-crab soup around.
Other than that, The aquarium and the IMAX theater are close to Margaritaville (Broadway at the Beach) as are the NASCAR Cafe, Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood. Lots of mini golf and waterslide type places closer to downtown. The Pavillion is the old-school amusement park in the middle of Myrtle Beach. It's a tourist town, with no shortage of stuff to do, and there should be plenty of info at your hotel.

There is this awesome restaurant in Murrells Inlet that your kids would LOVE (I'm 16 and still had fun crunching all the peanut shells on the ground). If only I could remember the name... GOT IT! River City Cafe in Murrells Inlet. They give you a bowl of peanuts and you can throw the shells on the ground or wherever you want, and you can carve your name into the wall or onto the tables. I've never seen a place with more license plates either. Also nearby that is Capt'n Dicks marina, where me and my brother went parasailing. I think you can take a tour of the marshes and looks for alligators there in a river boat kind of thing, maybe your kids would like that.
Also, after you eat at Margaritaville play Mini-golf at the mini golf course that's at Broadway at the Beach, you should find it easily. It's called Dragon Lair mini-golf I think, but it's a good course and very close to M'Ville. Other recommendations on mini-golf: Mt. Atlanticus Minitour Golf, and the ones all the way at the south end of the street that runs closest to the ocean (Ocean Boulevard perhaps?) Also if you want to play par 3 golf, there is a place called Midway par 3 Golf that has 3 9-hole courses and is all the way at the south of Ocean Boulevard (?) where those other mini golf courses are.
Hope that's enough info.!! Enjoy your trip!!!
