I was the same- was never going to lose weight drinking normal soft drinks - however, we have a range here "Golden Circle" and they are fruit soft drinks - and I LOVE THEM! I have them in my fridge all the time - I am so grateful they released their diet range!!!SMLCHNG wrote:Either is fine for me, but I'll pick Pepsi usually first.![]()

Kind of funny, Coke has a bigger market share among BNrs than it does nation wide. Cokes market share in the US Nation wide is currently at about 58% while Pepsi grabs a cool 37 % leaving the rest for other Cola's. These numbers are just on Cola not on all Soda categories. Pepsi's share of the total soda market is much closer to Cokes when you include all the company products.
In all soda market share, Coca Cola Beverage Company still commands with 43.1% This is the lowest in the last 10 years. But still tops all the rest by a healthy margin.

If you are talking about the "original recipe" Coca Cola, of the 60's & 70's, prior to the introduction of "New Coke" and Coca Cola Classic in the early 80's, good news, you can still get it. The Coca Cola bottling plant in Mexico never changed the recipe. The original recipe Coca Cola can still be found in the Green Glass Bottle produced and bottled in Mexico. All of our Taquerias and Mexican Markets carry Mexican Coca Cola. Even Beverages an More carries it. IMHO it is a superior product and I get it whenever I can.PartofthePhlock wrote:I'd sure like to try a coke made with the "original" recipe.
Trivial history fact, The first recipe used DID NOT contain Cocaine (urban legend) it did however contain Cocoamide, a byproduct of the Cocoa nut, which is indeed used to make Cocaine.

We in Texas are bigger than just a State, lol. But we are a humble bunch. I think the use of "National" stems from Texas' constitution where it permits Texas breaking up into no less than 2 and no more than 5 states, hence a Nation.longlinergirl wrote:longlinergirl wrote:The NATIONAL drink of Texas???????Sirius Rich wrote:Just like the National restaurant of Texas:
