I've found that classic yard games (bocce, horseshoes, lawn darts, volleyball, badminton, frisbee) are always crowd-pleasers.

Basically, anything you can play with a beer in your hand.

And they can usually be found pretty cheap at your local Target, K-Mart, etc.

I have a friend that holds an annual " Beer-lympics " kinda party . .

lots of activities that " require " you to be drinkin a beer while you do them . .

I'll give her a call, and send along some of the ideas. .

she has explained some of them to me . . and let me tell you, it sounded like a scream . .

sounds like major fun. . enjoy . .! !

At the recent redneck olympics they had an event called "Toilet Seat Horseshoes" that looked pretty, umm, interesting.

yep. . things like that . . ! ! but some of the ideas for " medals " were hysterical . .

is this going to be " on " the water . . as in, with boats ?
or " by " the water . . as in floating toys ..?
or " near " the water , as in grassy area games . . ? ?

We have 5 boats to drag people around in the water. 1 1992 Sun Valley Bar Tender of the Year, and lots of booze.
