Dickey Betts will be playing close to my house in Mass and I was wondering if anyone else has ever seen him in concert. I am into the Allman Bros so I was wondering if it would be worth going to.

I've heard mixed reviews of his shows but he and Great Southern were sitting in as the house band on The Carson Daly Show last week and sounded pretty damn good. Never heard him sing though. On the Grammys earlier this year it sounded like his voice was shot. If you do go please report back.

Saw him this spring.......AWESOME!!!!! GO see him!! He does jam a bit and can play a song for a good 20 minutes. He has a great band with him also. He did at least 3 or 4 Allman Bros tunes. You will get your moneys worth and walk out wondering how someone can play the guitar like that! Yes....go....go....get your ticket now!!!!!

I have seen him twice by himself and absolutely loved it both times. Amazing guitarist, great setlist and very in tune with the crowd.
