Hell, you don't need to be in Key West to have that happen, Buffett imitators are everywhere these days it seems, particularly here along the Carolina coast. Some do a better job than others but very few come close to making it listenable.Sidew13 wrote:I like it in concert only

I posted that in another song thread. There ARE some advantages to being on the lawn, aren't there?DsilCaribe wrote:or just go right there on the lawn

Without Being able to do Margaritaville..
Given the amount of times "Margaritaville" has been played on the radio I'd still say it hasn't reached the same level of overexposure of those other "classic rock" warhorses "Stairway To Heaven" and "Freebird". In that sense, even though I may not always listen to it every time, I still get a kick out of hearing it on the radio. It seems in the years since it's initial success, the other SYKBH standards don't recieve as much airplay (aside from maybe "Come Monday" and "Cheeseburger") but "Margaritaville" remains.

With LIPH playing the Tabourine and shakin' his groove-thang next to Heather?Left Field ParrotHead wrote:The lost verse without the salt, salt, salt crap. That would be the epic version.purlygirly wrote:I really like it with the lost verse. Definitely pulls it up a notch or two.
