Reunited metal men nail down second leg of U.S. tour

British heavy metal vets Judas Priest will kick off the second leg of their U.S. tour September 24th in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. The trek is in continued support of Angel of Retribution, their first album in fifteen years with singer Rob Halford.

Halford quit the band in 1990, and was replaced by Tim "Ripper" Owens, who had fronted a Priest tribute band. Angel finds the singer recommitted to his old post.

"I don't want to be known as anything other than the lead vocalist for Judas Priest," Halford told Rolling Stone earlier this year. "This is the most important thing in my life."
