what is it with you people below the line (and the ones that wandered up here via the Hillbilly Highway) and deep-frying stuff that melts at temperatures lower than the grease being used?

wouldn't it be about the same to just go get a ladle-ful of boiling lard and just s*** that down?

Don't knock it till you tried it. I have no idea who came up with the idea of deep frying ice cream but it certainly is an excellent dessert!

you know the first time I HEARD of deep fried twinkies I read about it in Time Magazine and the article was about a place in NEW YORK that was doing it and I believe that was the founding place of deep fried twinkies.

I first saw deep-fried ice cream on a MEXICAN menu, but I've never tried it.

It's sooooooooooooo good! It's basically a scoop of vanilla breaded/crusted in a sweet/crunch cereal type thing and fried. Pour some caramel on top and YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!
