Veteran rock act Bon Jovi and breakthrough country trio Sugarland will tape an episode of "CMT Crossroads" Aug. 9 at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom in front of an invitation-only audience. The groups will collaborate on each other's material during the taping, which will air Sept. 16 on CMT.

As previously reported, Bon Jovi's new album, "Have a Nice Day," is due Sept. 20 via Island Records. The set includes "Who Says You Can't Go Home," a duet with Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles.

That's an odd pairing. And what ever happened to the other Crossroads that have been taped? They haven't aired any new ones in a while.
