Tools are naughty...

So I was dinkin' in the garage this weekend and realized how naughty tools are. I mean...you can screw or nail something and rub caulk all over it too.
I'm not sure the garage is suitable for children any longer (in spite of the Snap-On calendar).

I re-read that too! It's funny, we do drink in the garage quite often. That's where the dart board is as well as the kegerator!

I was reorganizing the contents of our freezer and moving boxes and furniture to get to our luggage.
If I was doing something else, I'd 'come' right out and say so.

The garage is the best place to drink. Just a man, his vehicles, a bunch of tools, and some beer...it's a beautiful thing.

I knew Frankie would understand.
It's also the only place in the house where smoking is allowed, so at some point, people generally end up convening in there.

I hear you there. But there has not been a vehicle in my garage since I have bought the place. I should change the name of it to a "Really big storage shed"

The only vehicle in our garage is Matt's non-working Jeep. Everything else is furniture and other crap.

If I had a dime for everytime I heard that phrase, I would not have to work anymore.

Oh you just shut up!!! It's not non-working because it's broken (sorta) it's not working because "someday it will have a new engine, dear."

They are very similar.

Tinkering implies actually fixing something and being productive. Dinkin' is more like, "what the hell am i doing in a garage looking for something" type of activity.

What's wrong with the old engine?

It's no longer attached to the Jeep.

I'm getting 2 of my pickups ready to sell too. Funny how my vehicles are in better shape when I sell them than they are at any time while I own them
