I met the lovely Betty!

We met and had lunch today and it was so great! She is one dynamite, young-looking lady. Her NS friends, Marjorie and Gene, were with her (thanks again for lunch, Gene!) and we all got on famously! We had a margarita and toasted the BN crew and I made sure to pass on hugs from Penny, Kathy, Renée and Wayne, of course! She showed me pics of her kids, and of her wonderful John, whom she misses greatly it is evident.

I am glad to report though, that it would take a LOT to keep this vibrant, sweet, funny lady down for long! I only wish we had had more time to share our stories. Perhaps a trip to San Jose someday? Who knows!

Cate, you are embarassing me! You have it all wrong: YOU are the greatest. So stop raving! Seriously, all you BN'ers who haven't met Cate yet, you are in for a treat. She even brought me flowers! We had such a great time, and more meetings will be in the future I hope.
I am logged onto Gene's computer for the moment, and just wanted to let you all know what a doll Cate is.
