DEFINITELY!!! A meal within itself.... I had potato patties as were mentioned before ... along time ago.... also potato pancakes and a "sort of tortia" made from potato flour....I think they were called "lepkes" (not sure now was years ago while I was in North Dakota)... maybe RR will be kind enough to to tell me the correct name.
A little off topic I admit...but...
Another trick I learned ( if you are daring and adventurous...) Take tater tots and put them a blender or a food pocessor(s) and chop them up and press them out flat in a pan ( thick or thin your choice) use them for pizza crust. Use the "red sauce" or the "white sauce" and add cheese, shrooms, pepperoni, or whatever your favorities toppings maybe....It was a most pleasant change and a delite to the tastebuds....Might want to cook them in the pan a bit first...then again........maybe not.
As for Ketchup...it has it's moments....but I think "Dirty Harry" said it best... "NOBODY, puts ketchup on a hotdog!"

<-- not a fan of ketchup, mayo, or mustard. Heinz 57 or A1, sure. Salsa, definitely.
