TailGREAT

Post by opharbour »

Hi alll... Sorry I've been a bit incommunicado, we've been working very hard on the CPHC TailGREAT party at Blue Bayou and I want send a personal invitation and hope you'll consider making this event a part of your Pre-Sunday concert plans.

I know SOASOAPT will be there. As will the Captain Morgan Girls (with temporary tattoos and hopefully some t-shirts to give away) and hopefully even Captain Morgan himself. Corona and Margaritaville Tequila are also on board with their assistance in the event and have donated some very cool prizes for our Silent Auction and Raffles.

$30 at the door covers a New Orleans and Buffett styled food buffet, discounted drinks, and the South of Disorder Band. The party starts at 10 and ends at 4! My personal opinion as I look through the drink specials is that if you have an early lunch and early dinner at the buffet, drink just 1 drink per hour while you are there, you'll find that the $30 cover is an incredible bargain compared to what you'll spend at places like Murphy's Bleachers or High Tops. You'll also have that great feeling of helping out charities like the Alzheimer's Association and Misericordia.

The menu for the buffet will include the following at minimum:

Cheeseburgers
Chicken, Andouille Sausage and Crawfish Jambalaya
Andouille and Chicken Kabobs
Blackened Chicken Quesadillas
Nachos with Guacamole and Salsa

If you're driving and one of the first 250 cars to arrive, you'll even get free parking just four blocks away from Wrigley Field.

As a bonus, anyone with a wristband to the party can come back to Blue Bayou after the concert for even more live entertainment without paying a cover charge.

If we fill up Blue Bayou, the party overflows to a second bar, so we should have plenty of room.

For more details, read the flyer at http://www.chicagoparrotheads.com
