You're a good person, but don't feel bad for me. If this is my WORST problem-not wanting to go to a concert-I'm truly blessed. (And I KNOW I am).
All will be well in time, but we'll ALL have to put aside some petty differences and help each other get through it.
Thanks, friend.

I understand how you feel, the past few days in both the real world and our virtual world have not been the most pleasant and conducive to Gulf and Western lifestyles most of us wish to lead.
Just remember when you get to Margawrigleyville the majority of the flock will be feeling the same as you, many thoughts, prayers and toasts will be sent to our friends down south.

Ok I'm in. Other plans for that day changed.
I still don't have a ticket, but I have left a message with someone from the ticket exchange. I've decided to go to the pre-concert stuff even if I don't have a ticket.

I'm from the Chicago area and it would be too stupid even for me to miss Jimmy when he comes to town (esp since I went to Ft Lauderdale in Feb and will be going to Las Vegas in Oct to see da man). Also, I can park for free close by at a work friends place.
None of my "normal"

Chicago group is going, but I recognize a few other names that are going, so it should be lots o' fun.

Back at ya Zero.
I just got a PM from my ticket exchange contact (Abby) and I now have a ticket. It's starting to come together.

I wasn't really keeping up on all the planning since I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it until this week. What was the final decision for a meeting place Sunday and about what time?

I saw something about meeting at the NE parking lot about 10:00. Not sure what that means, but I will try to be there. Look for me. I will be the one dressed funny (Hawiaan shirt, parrot hat, leis, and grass skirt) and probably drinking a beer.

Clark & Racine. Just north of the ballpark... north of Waveland beyond the Full Schilling & the Metro. It's conveniently tucked away a bit. It's a good meeting spot before we head into the madness.

Sorry... no one ever decided, and I just don't know the area enough to shoulder that responsibility!
I plan on being in Wrigleyville around noon, walking til somewhere catches my eye, or til someone calls me to tell me where to go!

(don't say it!

)
In the back of my mind, the Chicago PHC "Tailgreat" at the Blue Bayou doesn't seem like a bad place to start. It opens at 10:00, includes food, and had drink specials $2.50 - $5.00 , and part of the proceeds go to the hurricane relief. And SOASOAPT, and opharbour, will be there!
