Agreed. Tevas & Reefs don't hurt your feet because they are quality flip flops. Cost about $20 a pair.7lords wrote:I wear them and the only ones I've ever had discomfort with are the cheap $2 ones with plastic/rubber straps

I wear them all the time, but not the cheap ones. I can't wear the ones with rubber/plastic between the toes and I need the arch support, so mainly for me it's Reef, Teva or J Crew. As long as the strap is material or leather I'm good, but otherwise I get the ouchie toes too.
Of course Pink flip flops are the best...

I wear my Jesus shoes as much as possible,....I don't wear the cheap flip flops/shower shoes... those things are dangerous....slips...falls...blowouts...and whatnot....
I have yet to figure out why they have not been recalled or the company(ies) that make them, been sued back to before the pre-cambian era...

I get all my sunglasses at the Dollar Store (I refuse to pay more than $3 for a pair of sunglasses that I will inevitably lose or break within 2 weeks). I bought a pair of Adidas-ish sandals there for $3, and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.Wino you know wrote:I bought a very NICE pair from WAL MART (greatest store on the planet) for $4.00, and a great pair of sunglasses for $3.00!

my FAVORITE topicPartofthePhlock wrote:Hey Wino, is that a pic of your dog? I just love the expression it her? his? face.
Yes, it's my dog. HER name is DESDEMONA.
She'll be 4 in about a week. I also have another dog (Merlin-age 13 1/2), a Shepherd/Husky mix.
Needless to say, they BOTH give me LOTS of joy.
Thanks for asking.

Isn't it amazing that the same people who b|tch about having to pay a $1.50 ATM fee are the same jokers who think nothing of paying $40.00 for a pair of sunglasses, $30.00 for a pair of flip-flops, or $4.00 for ONE bottle of water.

For the longest time, I never wore flip flops, now I'm addicted. Took about a week of wearing them, because the skin in between the toes wasn't used to the slight rubbing. I just kept putting lotion on and now the only ones I can't wear are the cheap rubber/plastic ones.MA_Buffett_Fan23 wrote:well halfway through my second day and they're feeling ok... It's as close to barefoot as I can get at work

I'll drive 20 miles to avoid a $1.00 ATM fee (yeah, yeah, I know). And I don't pay $4 for a bottle of fine wine, let alone water. Sheesh...Wino you know wrote:HEY, REDNEKK!rednekkPH wrote:I get all my sunglasses at the Dollar Store (I refuse to pay more than $3 for a pair of sunglasses that I will inevitably lose or break within 2 weeks).
