A couple of quick (and maybe stupid) questions

I just received tickets that I won from an EBAY auction. They arent tickets they seem to have been printed off someones computer, I am assuming these are "E-TICKETS". If so, is there anything different about these tickets ?? Ive never seen them before.
Also they are in section "F" which is about halfway on and off the stage. Does anyone know which way the seats will be numbered ?? Will seats 1, 2, 3, etc... begin at the left or right off the section ????
Oh BTW, this is for the Philly 8/25 show.

Sorry I can't help you, but I have no experience w/ the e-tickets.
And FYI, you're welcome to put a ticket ad for your other tickets in the ticket exchange area...let me know if you need any help.

So what's the scoop? How do you tell if they are "real"?

but assuming they're fast-ticket e-tickets, they should have been emailed to you, and the person should have (one hopes) deleted it off their system....

The only problem with getting this type of ticket on Ebay is that the person selling them can print and sell as many copies as they want. So if this person printed and sold several of these and you are not the first one through the door you are out of luck. Actual tickets are best when getting them from Ebay.

Yep. Actually, the whole idea of etickets when it comes to concerts or ballgames is really stupid. Airlines, sure. But something you might like to have a souvenir of, no.

Albatross, I don't think they'll look like that anyway because the ticket sales were done through New Era, not Ticketbastard.

as long as the person has a pretty good amount of positive feedback I wouldnt worry too much, the MAJORITY of people on ebay are decent people, I have bought several tickets off ebay (Buffett, Chesney, Eminem, Metallica (hows that for varying muscial tastes) as well as red sox and patriots tickets) and never had any issue even with "etickets" as long as the person has good feedback dont worry about it

Most venues' policies for etickets is...first one in with the tickets gets in, if other's with duplicates try, they cannot get in. If you can prove you were the original purchaser of the tickets, they will refund your money if you don't get in.
As stated above, if the seller's feedback is good, you should be ok. But you might want to head in a little early, just in case.
