Good work Four Play!!

The banner's been added to the list up top and I'll send another update of the list to the club.

Just got back from Liberty Pool. AFN is considering a live feed is they can find somewhere to host it. Out of my expertise. Any ideas?

Hey Crash. Maybe it's just really late here...but...huh??

Are you looking for an internet site to host a broadcast of Buffettfest to other locations?? Or, am I completely misunderstanding here?? (Obviously this is waaaay out of my expertise, but I'm just trying to understand to see if there's anything I can do to help.)

Armed Forces Network (AFN) is a TV network that plays on military bases. Not sure if Crash means a feed into another network, or exactly what.

Yup, I've heard of AFN (I'll see it on cable once in a while), but I wasn't sure what kind of feed we were talking about here...or what would be required to "host" it.... :-?

Same here... Need some clarification... Be pretty cool if a national affiliate would pick it up! :D OOOOOOO, I wonder if C-Span would do it! :D

Now that's an idea!!! Buffettfest would have to be better than watching legislators debate and vote....  (personal opinion  )

No - I don't think it would be a network or cable feed. Probably something through the internet. As I said, I have no clue about stuff like this. I don't even know if a website could host something like this but thought I would check.

Not that I know a whole lot, but I think it'd have to be a LARGE website to handle the kind of traffic that would be trying to pull the streaming video. Can be done, I think, but I don't know the technical specs...

The possibility of a video feed is being investigated.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving

I just shipped the banner with the Buffettfest logo.
It is 40" tall by 48" wide and it turned out great!

Even though it's a bit early, I'll be hoisting a few to crash and his compadres (and commadres?) this weekend!
