Got a lot of extraordinary packages today. The gift bags came and we have a special idea for them that I might be able to pass along a little later. The Margaritaville boxes arrive - lordy, lordy were those people generous.

One package arrived that broke my heart though. Molly, the cd you were kind enough to burn with the shout to Buffett Fest at Cincy was broken. I could have just cried.

I'll email you the audio clip of just the shout-out. If you can't burn it to a cd, maybe you can hook up a computer to your sound system and play it between songs that way.

Good morning everyone.

Included in the packages from yesterday were a ton of personally signed postcards to the troops. How in the world were we going to display them all you ask? Well, let me tell ya.

We are going to number and use them for the raffles. That way, we make sure everyone has a personal message from "home". Then, during the course of Buffett Fest, we will have the raffle winners read their postcards outloud so everyone can hear them.

Pretty cool idea I thought.

crash . . ? ?

have you received the box that had the roll of 1000 (?)double tickets in it .. .? ?

I had sent it to be used for door prizes , etc. .

or maybe use the " match a duck to a number " idea. .

that would work . .

Crash,

Just saw your post and thought you'd like to know that all of the video in the dvd that we sent to you is from the Cincy show so the shout out was actually captured in the footage- No worries!
