I was running miles for the Track Team in college. I sprained my ankle right in front of an autobody shop near Pinstripes.MA_Buffett_Fan23 wrote:aeroparrot wrote:The BN women are not the only ones with bad ankles. I sprained my right ankle badly while running on Park Avenue in Worcester. Ouch!!!

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

I'll admit it...I'm a F'n tin man. I hurt myself so many times growing up, I've got all sorts of screwed up body parts.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:the boys probably have weak joints, too. they just won't admit it...
hyperextended my right knee in 96...never been the same since.
tore my left rotator cuff back in 2000...it still gives me pains.
bad neck/back from a car accident in 97...and now an office job with bad posture keeps the pains. The imporperly fused vertebrae at the base of my spine don't help
very bad migraines with too much computer time (something about eye strain on tv/computer screens, even though my eyes are perfect)

I still haven't even gotten to go geocaching yet, Nancy! My poor gps is still in the box. Never got to use it before I left for FL in Feb and since I've been in SoCal ever since breaking my leg, it is still sitting in the box up north. I'm going to try to remember to grab it on my next trip up there, maybe I can find some easy caches around here...or at least learn how to use the dang gps.nutmeg wrote:Well, I guess I have to weigh in here too.Broken right ankle. Two surgeries on it. Still has a pin in it. (right handed)
(Do you want to hear about the wrist I broke at a garage sale or the foot I broke while geocaching?)
Of course given the long term affects of this injury, maybe I should just sell the dang thing.

a very cool hobby. All it takes is a good handheld gps unit and a plan.Lightning Bolt wrote:???nutmeg wrote: ....or the foot I broke while geocaching?)

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Hey! Sitting in front of a computer and typing and scrolling and reading is strenuous work!OceanCityGirl wrote:This whole thing is really funny.
Besides some of the replies I can't believe so many of us have the same problem. I was only kidding. Maybe bn'ers are just more active and so they get hurt more.
