One of my good buddies has a "myspace" (Even I don't know what they really are) And he told me that a bunch of movie stars and singers have them too, so I told him to search to see if Jimmy had one and sure enough he sent the link to me. Under the "About Jimmy Buffett" part is copied right out of the beginning of A Pirate Looks at 50.

I don't believe its really him I figured I'd see what you thought about it

My guess is that it is run by his 'people'. I don't use Myspace so I'm sorta clueless on this stuff.

I would think that IF Jimmy did a blog ...it would be on M-ville.com not a place like this.

I'm not very "techno-savvy," but something just doesn't smell right about that.

im a member at myspace, it makes most its money by setting up pages like that for bands and doin promo's for albums, they also do the same for movies, this is under the myspace music, most the times its either the record company or just some kid with to much time on their hands, id vote a major no on it being real, this one looks like one just set up by a fan, the ones done by record companies are set up a lot better then this

My son is on myspace and he said it is real, but the artists don't put them on myspace the band "suits" or promoters do it. Basically its like an advertisement for people looking for a certin type of music.. So if you want to contact him you'd probably be better off sending him a letter in the mail.
