Go see Bad News Bears instead. It's much better.

I guess they were covering their butt cause last night on tv they showed the real general lee. And they said look the doors really open. Made a big deal out of this.

I hate remake movies. I doubt I can think of one that I"ve liked.

To there credit, the doors don't open later on in the movie, but not for the original reason as in the show: they were welded shut because it was a race car. They don't open in the movie because Cooter couldn't fix them.

I don't think I made myself clear on this one. They weren't students, they were visiting a geology lab. That whole segment of the movie was so out of context it was rediculous.

I also forgot to mention one other good point. Junior Brown is the Balladeer, a nice touch

I still want my life back from that one - I would have walked out but I had taken my son and for some wierd unknown erason he loved it.

Thanks for the heads up! I already had decided not to pay premium prices to see it in a theatre. I was going to wait until it was on DVD, now I may not even rent it.
