My plans have dissolved and all of a sudden I am free on the 27th and 28th of August. According to Yahoo Maps, it is 755.9 KM (453.5 miles) from my front door to Citizens Bank Park in Philly. I do not have a ticket for the show, or a parking pass. And I cannot seem to convince any phriends to go. Even the guy I went to the Toronto show with has backed out of the idea. Something about a business trip or something...priorities
Anyone know where I can get one ticket? The parking pass I can find on my own, how would I recognize the fellow BNer's at the tailgate?
Any help would be appreciated...

Looks like New Era (the "official" ticket outlet for the event) still has tickets in all price ranges. You could try buying a single thru there.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:So....

Our friends bailed on us and I have two extra for the Saturday show. Is the ticket exchange ok to use or am I better off trying to sell them on the day of the show?
I just want to break even at this point and not take a beating by having scalpers offer half the money and then turning around and selling them for double the price. I'd rather have a phan get them.
They are Field J and I think they are row 11.
Thoughts?
BTW, I'm still going to the show with the wife and we can't wait.

Hi everyone:
My wife and I are going to the 8-27 Philly show, coming in from the Burgh. We are looking for people to tailgate with, share some food and booze and generally get crazy...the typical stuff.
It looks like the BN crowd will be tailgating at M & N...did I get that right?
BTW, we are staying at the Holiday Inn Stadium on Friday and Sat night. Anyone else?
Looking foward to meeting y'inns! (LOL, ok...ok, I don't really talk like that...hell, I'm a native Floridian, and "y'inns" still drives me nuts....but I know that Pittsburgheese cracks you Philly guys up....).

Just got back from Pittsburgh on Tuesday. The wife and I will be at the Saturday show and yes we and many others will be in M&N.
For the record, the "official" spelling is either "yunz" or "yinz". I was dahntahn and saw this on several items in the Strip District. (No Harbourgirl, it's not what you think!
)
See you at the show. Can you bring some Primanti's sammiches with you? Ah, nevermind, I'm sure they don't travel well.

I'm not sure that Primanti's travels well, but I have been asked to bring them to all corners of the earth, regardless of how they travel....of course, nothing beats eating one at 2 am in the Strip....blackjack wrote:Conch:

No worries .... prevailing wisdom says that lots M & N will soon be known as Philly's "Strip District".habourgirl wrote:Bummer....blackjack wrote: I was dahntahn and saw this on several items in the Strip District. (No Harbourgirl, it's not what you think!)
Hey, I hope Zanth is compensating you something for being his personal assistant. If not, you should go on strike .... maybe make up signs that say "No Cash, No Flash!" or "Hell No, We Won't Show!".

Law school is extremely overrated. Long gone are the "Paper Chase" days.
