goodnight all & thanks for the company - I'm giving up and going to watch the news w/Mr. Nicki - but before I do I'm going to put in "Off To See The Lizard" & listen to Changing Channels, my favorite final encore . .
here's to better luck on Thursday - see you then!
You know, Mr. Nicki is a very lucky guy. Nicki, that is one of my favorite JB songs. Not sure if you're still here, but if you are, what do you think about African Friend?[/qu

That is also one of my wifes and my favorite songs and I love When the Coast is Clear! especially this time of the year! Yes Nicki, Mr Nicki is a very lucky man! and you are a very special Lady !!! Thank you for always being so kind!

My wife, the keets, and I were down in Wildwood, NJ from Sun-Wed and we played the hell out of Meet Me In Margaritaville. Yesterday, the phour of us were out shopping. APLAF was on, and our 5 year old said "Here it comes", just before Jimmy sang "I have been drunk now for over two weeks". The wife and I just busted out laughing, then wondered if we should start worrying.

Don't worry, PhlyersPhan - I always think the energy that comes from Jimmy is so positive and life-affirming, it's got to be good for kids! I know it's a bit hard to explain WDWGDAS, but . . . I'm with you & Ms. PP - better to laugh, that's what the keets will remember . . .

African Friend is wonderful - such a great story told in song - I do love it

and Mr & Ms. 216, I know just what you mean about this being the time for Coast is Clear - the kids are (almost) back in school and there's a melancholy feeling about the coming of fall - well, perhaps we should all have a glass of wine and toast the end of summer - and I'd better go to bed before I get any sappier . . .

Thank you so much for the kind words - they mean a lot

. . . and I almost forgot - goodnight, FruityParrothead!

Wow!!!! I'm uber tired, but I just wanted to say that my first Buffett show was phucking awesome!!!!!!! I've never been to anything sooooo cool!!! Had a great time bs-ing with my fellow BN-ers too! I think the one thing thats actually gonna stick with me the most was when the stage just "came alive" when Hot Hot Hot came on! And of course, I've been waiting all summer to hear Lighthouse... which was uber cool! So, I'm off to bed before I pass out! See y'all Thursday!!!

Just returned home this afternoon (NC). We had a lot of fun in Cincy and can't wait until next year. I was surprised not to hear "SOASOAS", but was greatly and pleasantly surprised by 'Banana Republics' and 'Gypsies'. Overall, great setlist.

ejr, I was just listening to the Cincy show and heard Jimmy say he was practicing up on Banana Republics for that special moment at Wrigley Field. So...it sounds like you will get your favorite moment Labor Day Weekend.
