Q took me to see March of the Penguins and it was beautiful.

Go see it... now... take your keets... or a friend... it was AMAZING.

I was gonna take myself last night since I was all alone...but decided not to go. Now I wish I had. :-? Except I'm such a wimp, I'll cry thru the whole damn thing. :oops: :cry: :cry:

March of the Penguins is wonderful! Perfect if you're living in the sauna known as the northeast USA right now, too.

But...it is a serious documentary and it's not a Disneyfied version of penguin life. Bad stuff happens, very matter-of-factly, too.

Also, I noticed that the really small children at our theatre just didn't have the staying power. There are longish periods of the movie where not a whole lot happens - there's voice over, of course, in Morgan Freeman's wonderful voice, but a pre-schooler might get a bit antsy.
